About Selecta
Selecta is the largest provider of unattended self-serve coffee and convenience food in Europe, leading the way in vending solutions and specialist coffee services. We are hiring a Service Support Ambassador to join our team. The Service Support Ambassador is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the depot, including stock control, cleanliness, vehicle loading/unloading, and supporting Joy Ambassadors with stock and cash handling. The role also provides essential field support, such as emergency relief, installations, audits, and project work. You’ll assist with vehicle compliance, new starter training, and ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring strong organisation, flexibility, and a commitment to excellent service delivery.
Duties of Role
- Day to day running of Warehouse, maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and stock accuracy.
- Unloading and loading of vehicles using Forklift Truck.
- Joy Ambassador/ Merchandiser stocktakes & Stock Transfers.
- Joy Ambassador/ Merchandiser Cash handling in depot.
- Managing and Tracking product waste.
- Cover essential needs in the field – including emergency relief support, delivery of stock, adhoc installs and project work.
- Support Area Leaders during holiday.
- Attend training courses where required.
- Ensure Fleet is maintained to a high level including compiling vehicle audits.
- Maintaining and recording of vehicle weight to ensure we are legally compliant.
- In the field audits of machines where required.
- Assist with Onboarding of New Starters including essential training such as EdAPP, BCARM and Fleet Defense Modules.
Department Functions and Reporting
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
- Work closely with the field team and relevant dept to deliver exceptional service.
- Support the ASL’s communication of departmental or company information to the team, management, and other departments.
Health and Safety
- Comply with all Company and Statutory regulations regarding Health and Safety.
- Make yourself aware and observe all relevant health and safety rules and procedures on customer sites.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is always worn where relevant.
- Ensure your company car is always kept clean and road worthy in line with company procedures.
