Hospitality Assistant – JPMC
Location: City Of London, England, United Kingdom
Working onsite in our client’s corporate offices at their state‑of‑the‑art conference centres, you will support event and meeting services by ensuring coffee machines, drinks, and rooms are clean and fully stocked. You must be well‑presented, have excellent communication skills and a can‑do attitude.
Responsibilities
- Dedicating time to restock and clean self‑serve coffee machines and drink supplies, keeping the drinks area and meeting rooms tidy.
- Meeting and greeting guests discreetly and professionally.
- Knowing the opening/closing, ordering procedures and the food and beverage service offers.
- Ensuring rooms are cleared after each service, ready for reuse, and reporting any faults.
- Completing all event and meeting‑room preparation, set‑up and services promptly, meeting standards and time scales.
- Being fully aware of the daily and monthly menus to answer queries regarding dietary requirements or allergens.
- Acting as a runner for food and beverages from the kitchen to meeting rooms.
- Keeping silverware used during lunch/dinner service secure and clean.
- Working a weekly rota to cover locations for holidays, sickness and additional support as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a client‑facing environment is essential.
- Background in luxury hospitality/hotels/restaurants, smart front‑desks/receptions, corporate conferencing or events is highly transferable.
- Team‑player who collaborates across teams.
- Detail oriented with high standards of service and cleanliness.
- Confident communicator.
- Must be resident in the UK with right to work documentation.
