Are you a mechanic with experience working with plant machinery? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company who are looking for a skilled and reliable Plant Mechanic to join their maintenance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

  • Carry out and document all maintenance and repair work accurately, maintaining detailed records on a per-asset basis.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels of consumable parts and materials are maintained at all times.
  • Ready Company vehicles for MOT testing, covering passenger vehicles, LGVs and HGVs.
  • Respond to breakdowns across Company sites, diagnosing faults and completing repairs on construction plant and vehicles where possible.
  • Work in full accordance with all Health & Safety requirements, including COSHH, Safe Working Procedures and Risk Assessments.
  • Support the wider team with any additional duties as required by management.

  • Combilifts & side loaders
  • Telehandlers
  • Access platforms & scissor lifts
  • Mobile cranes
  • HGV tractor units
  • Articulated trailers
  • LGVs & panel vans
  • Passenger vehicles & pick-up trucks

Hours

Monday to Friday. Core hours 8:00am – 4:30pm with overtime available.

Salary

Depending on experience. All tools, equipment and PPE are supplied. Free parking.
