Our client, a specialist installer and service provider, is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a mechanical background to take ownership of installation projects from initial planning through to commissioning and closure. You'll be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing the full project lifecycle - planning, resourcing, delivery, and reporting.
- Producing project schedules, risk assessments, method statements, and cost forecasts, while keeping clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders informed throughout.
- Overseeing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring safe systems of work are followed at all times.
What we're looking for:
- A hands-on project manager with a mechanical, HVAC or construction background and strong experience in planning, resource management, and budget control.
- A solid understanding of mechanical installation is essential.
- A CSCS Manager card is required, and ideally hold qualifications such as SMSTS or CDM.
- MAPM membership is desirable.
- A confident communicator - comfortable managing client relationships, negotiating with suppliers, and leading site teams.
