SELECT is the trade association representing the electrical contracting industry in Scotland. Established in 1900 as The Electrical Contractors' Association of Scotland, it became the world's first trade association serving the electrical industry. With a long history of supporting professionals, SELECT promotes excellence and best practices in the field. The organization is dedicated to advancing the interests of its members through advocacy, training, and support.

Location: Edinburgh, Borders, and Dumfries & Galloway

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £36,816 per annum

Role Description

SELECT is seeking a proactive and professional Membership Representative to deliver outstanding service to existing Members and promote our organisation to potential Members and key stakeholders. Covering the Edinburgh, Borders, and Dumfries & Galloway areas, you will play a key role in strengthening our Member relationships and representing SELECT at industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out Member visits and calls, with appropriate reporting.
  • Conduct recruitment visits for potential Members.
  • Promote SELECT schemes and share updates and news.
  • Support and participate in Branch Updates, including minute-taking and onsite arrangements such as catering.
  • Attend and assist with events like Toolbox Talks and Member Drop-Ins.
