We are supporting a large international organisation looking to strengthen its internal Workday team with an experienced Senior Workday Analyst specialising in Absence and Time Tracking.
This is a senior functional Workday position where you will act as the subject matter expert across Workday Absence and Time Tracking, taking ownership of configuration, enhancements, releases and continuous improvement across both modules.
The role will suit someone with strong hands-on Workday configuration experience who can work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions and manage changes through to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Workday Absence and Time Tracking subject matter expert
- Own and deliver configuration changes across both modules
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into effective Workday solutions
- Manage module enhancements from design through testing and deployment
- Support Workday release cycles, including impact assessment and testing
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and feature adoption
- Contribute to the wider Workday roadmap and module strategy
- Maintain configuration standards, system integrity and governance
- Work closely with HR, Technology and wider business stakeholders
- Collaborate with external Workday partners where required
- Support change management, training and user adoption
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready system documentation
- Act as an escalation point for complex functional issues
- Provide guidance and support to junior analysts and administrators
What We're Looking For:
You should have strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Absence and Time Tracking within a live Workday environment.
Key Experience Includes:
- Deep Workday Absence experience
- Deep Workday Time Tracking experience
- Hands-on Workday configuration
- Strong understanding of Workday Business Processes
- Requirements gathering and solution design
- Workday enhancement and change delivery
- Workday release management and testing
- Experience troubleshooting complex functional issues
- Strong documentation and governance capability
- Experience across additional Workday HCM modules
- Experience within a large or global organisation
- Experience managing or working with third-party Workday partners
- Experience delivering Workday projects or module implementations
This role would suit someone who has genuinely configured and owned Workday Absence and Time Tracking, rather than someone whose exposure has primarily been broader HCM administration or end-user support.
You will join a specialist Workday team alongside colleagues with expertise across other Workday functional areas.
