Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administration, support, and maintenance of the Workday platform, with a focus on Core HCM and Security.
- Configure and manage Workday business processes, security roles, domains, and related policies.
- Lead and contribute to platform enhancement initiatives, including:
- Job Architecture design and implementation
- Security model redesign and simplification
- Reporting and dashboard optimisation
- Process automation and user experience improvements
- Collaborate with HR, Technology, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess impacts, and deliver scalable Workday solutions.
- Support Workday bi-annual releases through impact assessments, testing, validation, and deployment of new features and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, data inconsistencies, and user support queries in a timely manner.
- Support compliance activities including audits, SOX controls, and security reviews where required.
- Develop and maintain reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and analytics to meet operational and business reporting needs.
- Assist with data loads, integration testing, and tenant management activities across environments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and strengthen platform governance.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for system configurations, processes, procedures, and support activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience supporting and configuring Workday environments.
- Strong functional expertise across:
- Core HCM
- Workday Security
- Business Processes
- Reporting and Analytics
- Experience delivering or supporting Workday enhancement and optimisation projects.
- Strong understanding of the Workday security framework, including domains, security roles, segment-based security, and governance best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting BAU (Business-as-Usual) operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across operational support and project delivery activities.
- Experience supporting Workday releases, including regression testing and change validation.
