Administrator in the Purchasing Department. Full-time. Exeter β Office Based. Salary Β£24,700.

This Exeter based role requires joint responsibility for day-to-day processing of purchase orders, responding in a timely manner to sales order / customer / supplier queries. Requires some associated inventory analysis across group businesses, as well as support for both retail and departmental returns (RMA).
Responsibilities and Duties
- Purchasing Admin
- Day to day order processing across group businesses in line with requirements and in consultation with Sales, Operations, Logistics and the Head of UK Operations.
- Purchase order processing and monitoring as well as working with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of stock.
- Escalation of issues to line managers, Operations and Logistics teams and the Head of UK Operations as required. Assist in investigation and resolution of issues in a timely fashion with minimum disruption.
- Liaising with vendors, purchasing teams, logistics, order management and finance teams as required to report on inventory analysis including availability and value as well as other requirements.
- Process shipping reports including ingestion of serial numbers into our Microsoft Business Central ERP system and processing drop-ship orders, ensuring on-time invoicing.
- Dealing with inquiries from customers, sales, and other teams, as well as assisting with issues as required.
- RMA
- Day to day handling and processing of RMA queries either internally within the business or from external customers with timely responses and prompt resolution for queries.
- Assist with investigation of any queries related to RMA and collaborating with other teams internally and externally to bring to a successful resolution.
- Ability to present reports/information in a clear, concise and readable format and understanding of statistical analysis required from reports.
- Actioning resolution on RMA and purchasing/sales errors with escalation to senior teams if needed.
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years BC (Business Central), SAP or similar experience required
- Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote
- Experience within the technology sector would be an advantage
- IT, Business Or Analyst Degree Preferred Or Substantial Experience
- Self-starter with experience working in fast paced environment
- Experience interacting with high volume, faced paced retail and warehouse environments with logistics, a distinct advantage
- Ability to prioritize and proactively manage workload, and solve problems
- Full, clean driving licence
