The Opportunity
Following several new client wins, we’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Delivery Consultant to join our growing team. This is a delivery-focused recruitment role supporting a varied portfolio of permanent recruitment, executive search and embedded talent projects across manufacturing, engineering and industrial sectors. You’ll work closely with the Founder and directly with candidates, hiring managers and client stakeholders. Your focus will be on identifying and engaging exceptional talent, managing recruitment processes and ensuring every assignment is delivered to a high standard. There are no cold-calling or new-business sales targets. However, you’ll be encouraged to build strong client relationships, develop your commercial understanding and identify opportunities where Select Talent Group could provide additional support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, advertising, referrals and market research
- Conduct candidate screening and competency-based interviews
- Manage recruitment assignments from initial brief through to offer and onboarding
- Support retained executive search and confidential recruitment projects
- Develop talent maps and provide relevant market and salary intelligence
- Write job advertisements and candidate outreach messages
- Prepare high-quality candidate profiles and shortlists
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring managers
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, offers and notice periods
- Support embedded recruitment projects, both remotely and on client sites
- Build a strong understanding of our clients, their industries and the talent markets in which they operate
- Deliver an exceptional candidate and client experience throughout every process
No two days will be the same. One week, you could be sourcing candidates for a Managing Director search, supporting multiple operational vacancies for an embedded client, mapping a specialist engineering market and helping prepare a salary benchmark for a manufacturing business.
About You
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous recruitment agency, resourcing or in-house talent acquisition experience
- Experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates
- The ability to manage vacancies from initial brief through to offer
- Strong candidate interviewing and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A proactive, curious and research-led approach
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage several assignments and priorities simultaneously
- Confidence communicating with candidates and stakeholders at different levels
- A genuine interest in manufacturing, engineering and the businesses we support
- A desire to develop beyond traditional recruitment delivery over time
