Overview

We're delighted to support a global manufacturing business with a newly created Sustainability & ESG Coordinator. This exciting opportunity joins a company where sustainability is central to its long-term strategy. The coordinator will play a key role in driving environmental initiatives, supporting ESG reporting, engaging suppliers and stakeholders, and shaping the organisation's sustainability strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Sustainability & ESG initiatives across the business.
  • Collect, analyse and report environmental performance data, including energy consumption, water usage, waste and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Support carbon reduction programmes and Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) projects.
  • Monitor and report ESG KPIs and sustainability performance.
  • Support supplier ESG assessments, onboarding, audits and due diligence activities.
  • Assist with customer sustainability questionnaires and ESG reporting requirements.
  • Monitor changes in ESG legislation, standards and industry best practice.
  • Support the development and maintenance of ESG policies, procedures and governance documentation.
  • Promote sustainability awareness and engagement across the organisation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve environmental performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

We're interested in individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sustainability & ESG
  • Environmental Management
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Procurement
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

We also look for:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report data.
  • Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage others.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools is advantageous.
  • A proactive mindset and genuine passion for sustainability and continuous improvement.
