What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing structured and empowering support to a gentleman with complex needs
- Leading and mentoring support staff on shift
- Supporting communication using visual aids and alternative methods (e.g., Now & Next)
- Managing personal care with respect and dignity
- Responding to behaviours that may challenge with skill and patience
- Ensuring accurate record‑keeping, attending reviews, and contributing to care planning
- Working closely with families, professionals, and your wider team to ensure holistic care
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a care or supported living setting
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge
- A UK driving licence (preferred for flexibility across services)
- Confidence using or learning alternative communication tools
- Strong communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills
- Someone who sees the person, not the behaviour
- A calm, compassionate and professional approach to complex care
