We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy warehouse team in Eye, Suffolk.
The role will include:
- Supervising the daily warehouse operation and supporting the Warehouse Manager.
- Leading and supporting a team of forklift drivers.
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Allocating daily tasks and monitoring team performance.
- Ensuring goods are received, picked and dispatched safely and on time.
- Maintaining stock accuracy and completing inventory checks.
- Labelling, sorting, packing and unpacking goods.
- Completing daily forklift checks and basic maintenance.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Previous forklift operating experience and a valid forklift licence.
- Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role is desirable.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- A good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Basic computer and warehouse system experience.
Benefits:
- Monday to Friday 07:15-16:00
- £14.50 per hour.
