Select Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of our client, a prestigious hotel, to recruit an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee their entire food and beverage operation within their high-class Brasserie restaurant.
You will be responsible for managing the complete restaurant and bar operation, ensuring an immaculate standard and level of service befitting the premium Brasserie offering. Working up to 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and holiday periods, with a minimum of 35 hours per week offered. The Brasserie provides an elevated dining experience for both hotel guests and local clientele, requiring a manager who understands the nuances of fine dining service while maintaining the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of a contemporary Brasserie.
In addition to the Brasserie, you will oversee multiple food outlets on site, as well as large functions and weddings, ensuring consistent excellence across all areas.
The ideal candidate will have worked in food and beverage management for a few years in a quality hotel or standalone restaurant establishment, demonstrating:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in wine pairing and sommelier knowledge
- Proven ability in coaching and mentoring staff to achieve excellence
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- The ability to maintain consistently high standards across all service areas
- Understanding of hotel F&B operations and guest expectations
- Experience managing events, functions, and weddings
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing day-to-day restaurant and bar operations
- Managing multiple food outlets and ensuring brand consistency
- Coordinating and overseeing large functions and wedding services
- Training and developing the F&B team to Brasserie standards
- Maintaining immaculate service standards and presentation
- Wine selection, pairing recommendations, and staff education
- Ensuring guest satisfaction and handling feedback professionally
- Managing stock, suppliers, and operational efficiency
- Collaborating with hotel management and kitchen teams
