We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable business based in Bury St Edmunds, who are preparing for a busy seasonal period and are looking to expand their warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates seeking ongoing work within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with immediate starts and long-term opportunities available for the right individuals.
Please note: this role will involve manual handling and heavy lifting, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting duties.
Key Duties:- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch
- Loading and unloading stock within the warehouse
- Conducting stock checks and supporting inventory control processes
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
- Following all health & safety procedures and site guidelines
- Working as part of a busy team to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be advantageous and may attract a higher rate of pay
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team
