We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, who is seeking a reliable and motivated Stores & Warehouse Operative to join their growing team within the medical device sector. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position following an initial temporary assignment. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Unload and load lorries/vehicles using forklifts and pallet trucks
- Occasional driving to nearby locations for deliveries and collections
- Check delivery descriptions, quantities, and documentation upon receipt
- Record all delivery receipts accurately within the company ERP system
- Label and identify all incoming goods
- Provide samples to the Quality team when required
- Store and organise received and manufactured products within the facility
- Deliver and monitor stock levels for Manufacturing systems
- Prepare and record shipments in line with customer and company specifications
- Record all stock issues against production jobs within the ERP system
Qualifications & Experience:
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Essential:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Computer literate with the ability to use an ERP system
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment desirable
