Our client is a growing professional services, construction and maintenance business delivering projects across the commercial, industrial and public sectors. With typical project values ranging from 200,000 to 5,000,000 spanning planned maintenance, refurbishment, reactive works and medium construction packages they are looking to add an experienced Scoping Estimator to their team as a result of continued growth.

This is a varied, hands-on role that combines regular site visits with office-based estimating duties. You will be responsible for identifying, surveying, scoping and pricing works across a broad portfolio of projects and maintenance contracts, and will need a practical understanding of construction methods, maintenance works and Schedule of Rates pricing.

The Role

You will attend site visits to inspect and scope required works, before preparing detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, subcontractor costs and plant requirements. Alongside this you will interpret drawings and specifications, work with SOR contracts, liaise with clients and supply chain, identify risks and value engineering opportunities, and support tender submissions and project handovers.
