Do you have a track record of managing relationships with the UK's major grocery retailers?
And are you looking for a role where you'll lead a small, close-knit sales team while sitting on the Management Team itself?
We're recruiting for a well-established, premium FMCG brand based in Norwich, looking for a commercially sharp Sales Manager to cover maternity leave for 12-15 months.
This is a genuine leadership role, not a caretaker position – reporting directly to the MD, you'll own the sales function across all channels: retail, export, wholesale, foodservice and direct-to-consumer.
You'll take the lead on key account relationships, commercial negotiations and annual trading agreements, while also shaping sales strategy, forecasts and new business pipeline.
Alongside this, you'll coach and develop a small team, keeping performance on track without losing the collaborative culture this business is known for.
This one will suit someone with solid FMCG experience and proven grocery retailer relationships – confectionery or premium food background is a strong plus.
It's a fully office-based role with very occasional travel for shows and events.
Four-day week considered for the right person, pro-rated.
