Overview
Our client, a highly successful and fast-growing business that operate within the Financial Services sector is recruiting an Operations Analyst to join their well-established team.
The purpose of the role is to support the Operations Manager in delivering business as usual and operational change for the group businesses.
Owning the successful delivery of allocated operational targets across a diverse range of sector classes and teams, you\'ll become a valuable member of a dynamic, service focused, and successful team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support
- Provide technical and administrative support to the Operations Manager to ensure they are leveraging their time to the maximum.
- Point of contact for teams within the Group when Operations Manager is not available.
- Develop procedures and practices that improve the group-wide operational efficiency.
- Administrative Assistance
- Coordinating schedules, meetings, and appointments.
- Assisting with team calendar management and travel arrangements as needed.
- Assisting with processing monthly expenses.
- Support the team with general administration, post, liaison with IT support, etc.
- Minute taking for Appointed Representative and Team Meetings.
- Report Production
- Format information for effective internal and external communication.
For example, prepare reports, briefing notes, Endorsements, and other documents required by operational teams.
- Assist with the management oversight and production of corporate presentations (internal and external).
- General
- Produce timelines and support project management planning review and across any active or planned projects.
- Act as the point of contact among senior management, employees, clients, and other external partners when the Operations Manager is in meetings or out of office.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Strong written and spoken communication skills to enable communication at all levels cross multiple teams.
- Ability to handle a varied workload and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Willingness to work extended hours, as required.
- Background/exposure to project management would be advantageous.
