The Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering company within the electrical sector. Growth has created a need for an experienced supervisor to take charge of daily production - keeping wiring, fabrication and assembly teams on track, output strong, and quality consistent.
The Role
- Run daily production across wiring, fabrication and assembly
- Lead toolbox talks and team briefings
- Allocate work and monitor productivity
- Train new starters, manage attendance and overtime
- Resolve production issues as they arise
- Support FAT preparation
- Maintain quality, documentation and housekeeping standards
- Support the Production Manager
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years supervising in a relevant environment: control panels, electrical assembly, fabrication, switchgear, or industrial manufacturing
- Confident reading electrical/fabrication drawings and wiring schedules
- Solid grasp of production planning and quality control
Nice-to-Haves
- Protection & Control panel experience
- HV substation or National Grid exposure
- ISO 9001 familiarity
