Plant Mechanic - Permanent - Norfolk
Are you a mechanic with experience working with plant machinery?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company who are looking for a skilled and reliable Plant Mechanic to join their maintenance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
- Carry out and document all maintenance and repair work accurately, maintaining detailed records on a per-asset basis.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of consumable parts and materials are maintained at all times.
- Ready Company vehicles for MOT testing, covering passenger vehicles, LGVs and HGVs.
- Respond to breakdowns across Company sites, diagnosing faults and completing repairs on construction plant and vehicles where possible.
- Work in full accordance with all Health & Safety requirements, including COSHH, Safe Working Procedures and Risk Assessments.
- Support the wider team with any additional duties as required by management.

- Overhead gantry cranes
- Combilifts & side loaders
- Telehandlers
- Access platforms & scissor lifts
- Mobile cranes
- HGV tractor units
- Articulated trailers
- LGVs & panel vans
- Passenger vehicles & pick-up trucks
- Hours
- Monday to Friday. Core hours 8:00am – 4:30pm with overtime available

Depending on experience.
