Our client is looking for a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operative to join their team in Norwich, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position. What's on offer? £14.00 per hour Monday - Friday Rotating shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm Temp-to-perm opportunity Work within a busy and established food production environment Opportunity for a long-term career Weekly pay and holiday accrual Support from your dedicated Select Recruitment consultant About the role As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role in ensuring stock and finished products are moved safely and efficiently between the warehouse and production areas. Key responsibilities: Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck across warehouse and production areas. Move, locate, relocate and stack finished products and materials. Load and unload lorries, trailers and containers. Move pallets between production areas and warehouse storage. Complete stock movements, stock counts and pallet checks. Ensure products are stored safely and correctly. Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report any faults. Use scanners and computer systems to record stock movements. Complete loading, unloading and delivery paperwork. Re-stack and reorganise pallets where required. Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and food hygiene. What we're looking for: Must hold a valid in date Counterbalance Forklift license Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience Experience working within a warehouse, production or logistics environment Confident loading and unloading vehicles Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety Reliable, hard-working and able to work as part of a team Comfortable working rotating shifts Interested?
