Our client operates within the marine manufacturing sector, producing high-end products to exacting standards. With a growing product range and an expanding team, they are now seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Machine Programmer to join them. This is a varied and technically rewarding position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and can work confidently across multiple machining platforms.
You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a range of advanced CNC machinery, playing a key part in maintaining the high standards their customers expect.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Programming FOM Modus CNC machining centres for accurate aluminium profile machining, including tooling selection
- Creating and optimising cutting programs for Bystronic Laser systems, including nesting and material utilisation
- Programming Bystronic Press Brake machines, including tooling set-up, bend sequencing, and quality checks
- Programming XYZ CNC machines for precision machining tasks
- Programming and running Flatbed CNC Routers for sheet-based materials
- Using Radan, Mastercam, and FOMCAM to generate efficient, accurate CNC programs
- Interpreting engineering drawings, CAD files, and technical specifications
- Performing machine set-up, calibration, tooling changes, and routine maintenance
- Conducting first-off inspections
