Select Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Metal Polisher to join a busy fabrication team within a high-quality manufacturing environment.
As a Metal Polisher, you will be responsible for polishing metal components using static and flexi polishing machines. The role includes pre-polishing parts, removing imperfections, grinding welds, and finishing components to a high standard suitable for the marine industry.
Key Duties:- Polishing metal components using static and flexi polishing machines
- Pre-polishing metal parts to remove imperfections
- Grinding and smoothing welds after fabrication
- Finishing welded joints to a high-quality standard
- Working with small batch production components
- Inspecting work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in metal polishing or similar finishing role
- Experience within a small batch production environment
- Ability to handle and lift large or heavy items
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to work independently and think on your feet

- Willingness to work overtime when required, including weekends
