We are looking for a hands-on Installation Technician to join our Thetford-based client, carrying out installations, maintenance, and servicing of specialist equipment at customer sites. This is a permanent role involving regular travel and overnight stays across the UK. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident and proficient with hand and power tools, has experience in installation or a similar hands-on role, and enjoys working across varied locations and jobs rather than the same routine every day. What the role involves:
- On-site installation of specialist equipment to set standards and specifications
- Assembly and fixing of components using hand and power tools
- Routine maintenance, remedial works, and adjustments as required
- Driving company vehicles
- Keeping accurate job records
- Advising customers on correct and safe product use
- Working alongside project teams and supervisors to meet deadlines
- Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment
