We are currently recruiting General Operatives for a busy and well-established manufacturing company specialising in precast concrete walls and products. This is a hands‑on, physical role within a fast‑paced production environment, offering full‑time, ongoing work with an immediate start available. As a General Operative, you will play a key role in the production process, helping to manufacture high-quality concrete products while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of precast concrete walls and related products
  • Install reinforcing steel (rebar) into moulds prior to concrete pouring
  • Adjust rebar sizes in line with specifications
  • Paint and finish concrete products when required
  • Load and unload materials safely
  • Support other areas of the production process as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work as part of a team to meet production targets

Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred
  • Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
  • Ability to follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
  • Own transport is beneficial due to location
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, outdoor or open production environment
