Are you an experienced Housekeeper looking for a fantastic live-in role in a beautiful countryside setting? A rare opportunity has arisen to work and live on this well-maintained, extended estate as a dedicated and meticulous professional housekeeper, supporting a delightful couple to be part of their household near Southwold.

The Role

  • High-standard housekeeping, including deep cleaning, laundry, and wardrobe management
  • Ironing, including handling specialist fabrics
  • Light cooking (breakfast) and occasional assistance with entertaining
  • Feeding and caring for pets (two dogs and three cats)
  • Assisting with occasional family trips to a Scottish estate

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience of professional housekeeping in a private household
  • A keen eye for detail and very high standards
  • A polite, well-presented, and physically fit individual
  • A confident cook
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
  • A non-smoker with a full driving licence
  • Someone who enjoys being around pets

The Location & Accommodation

Based on an attractive estate near the charming coastal town of Southwold, this role comes with luxury self-contained accommodation on-site. The beautifully appointed lodge features:

  • One bedroom
  • Fully fitted kitchen
  • Superfast broadband
  • 55” TV

The location is perfect for outdoor activities such as coastal walks, sea swimming, running, and cycling.

What’s on Offer

  • £30,000 per annum
  • Accommodation and all bills included
  • Pets and partners welcome
  • Monday to Friday, alternating between 6:45am and 9am starts, finishing between 6pm-7pm (with a 3-hour afternoon break)
  • Discretionary yearly bonus
