We’re recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy and supportive team based in Beccles. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to work with a wide range of plant and specialist vehicles while playing a key part in keeping operations moving across the region.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of plant equipment and vehicles, both locally and between depots.
Key Duties Include:
- Delivering and collecting plant machinery using low loaders
- Completing daily vehicle and machine checks
- Shunting and organising vehicles within the yard
- Transporting vehicles between depots
- Collecting new vehicles from body builders
What We’re Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Flexible, proactive, and reliable approach to work
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 – £45,000 per year (depending on experience higher end being for low loader)
23 days paid holiday per year, including bank holidays
Varied and active role with a wide range of plant and specialist vehicles
