Β£18.00 per hour (overtime)
Β£27.00 per hour (Sundays & Bank Holidays)
Rotated weekly shifts:
5.00am β 12.30pm
3.00pm β 9.00pm
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client just outside Thetford, seeking a General Operative to support their production process. This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing industry, with full training provided, structured procedures to follow, and clear potential for career progression.
Duties:
Carry out sampling and testing of incoming materials to ensure they meet required standards.
Safely load and unloading incoming materials.
General housekeeping and routine cleaning to maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
Load and shovel materials onto the production line to support smooth manufacturing operations.
Complete all necessary documentation and follow company procedures.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times and report any hazards or issues.
Requirements
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Flexible and reliable with the ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and bank holidays when required.
Previous experience in a industrial environment desirable but not essential (full training provided).
Strong attention to detail when checking and recording data.
A telehandler licence is highly desirable and will be favoured, though not essential.
