Our client, a fast-growing clean-energy specialist, is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to head up electrical operations, guide a skilled engineering team, and drive the rollout of sustainable power solutions across commercial installations.

What You’ll Do
Lead and develop a team of engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors
Manage electrical installation, testing, and commissioning for Solar PV and battery storage systems
Oversee electrical design and ensure compliance with BS 7671, G99, IEC and CDM regulations
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits
Work closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure on-time delivery
Interface with DNOs/ICPs and support grid connection applications
Review schematics, system layouts, load calculations, and protection designs
Provide technical support on troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
Manage O&M activities for installed assets
Review power system studies (earthing, fault levels, harmonics)
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in an electrical management or senior electrical engineering role
Strong understanding of electrical design, system integration, and UK electrical regulations
Knowledge of Solar PV, battery storage, and grid connection standards (G99/G100)
Proficiency with design tools (AutoCAD, PV*Sol, Amtech or similar software)
Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM practices
Relevant electrical qualifications including 18th Edition and C&G 2391
Strong communication and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence
