Clean Water Operative – Temporary Role / ongoing

Are you a hands-on operative with a good eye for detail and a genuine interest in keeping our water supply clean and safe? Our client is looking for skilled Clean Water Operatives to join a team maintaining potable water storage points, including reservoirs, water towers and valve chambers. This is a chance to work on important public infrastructure, building your skills in a specialist field.

The role at a glance

• Role: Clean Water Operative
• Pay:£190.00 p/d
• Location:Anglian Water region
• Hours: 07:30 -17:00
• Contract: Temporary/ongoing

What you’ll be doing

• Cleaning and disinfecting reservoirs, water towers and tanks
• Maintaining valve chambers, washouts and overflows
• Carrying out pipework and joint repairs using approved products
• Completing quality inspections and keeping accurate recordsWorking to strict safety and environmental standards

What you’ll need

• An EUSR National Water Hygiene ("Blue Card") or the willingness to obtain one
• A valid CSCS card
• An understanding of water quality protection and clean/dirty boundaries
• Core health and safety training, such as manual handling, working at height and confined space awareness (training can be provided for the right candidate)
• A professional, quality-focused attitude with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a positive approach to teamwork
