Butler – Temporary Hospitality Assignments | Cambridge
Select Recruitment is looking for professional, well-presented, and experienced Butlers to support prestigious colleges, private events, and hospitality venues across Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high standard of formal food and beverage service.
- Set up and maintain dining rooms, tables and service areas to a professional standard.
- Serve guests with discretion, courtesy and attention to detail.
- Assist with formal dinners, private functions and special events.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene.
- Follow all health and safety, food hygiene and service procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to ensure a smooth and professional service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Butler or in formal fine-dining hospitality is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance, punctuality and a strong attention to detail.
- Confidence delivering formal table service and interacting with VIP guests.
- A reliable, flexible and discreet approach to work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under pressure.
Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas.
Pay:£15.50 - £19.00 per hour - depending on experience
