Select Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join one of our lovely clients in Norwich. We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a chartered, independent cost consultancy working on diverse projects across East Anglia and the South East.

Supporting experienced Quantity Surveyors, you will help with delivering cost management services across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, infrastructure and major civils projects for prestigious clients.

You will be:

  • Assisting with cost planning, tender documentation and procurement
  • Supporting post-contract cost management, valuations and variations
  • Helping with cost analysis, measurement and final accounts
  • Liaising with clients, design teams and contractors
  • Contributing to value engineering and risk management

You will need:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or working towards RICS APC
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and cost management
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and industry software
  • Strong communication skills and professional approach
  • Full UK driving licence
