As part of our directly employed workforce, you'll play a critical role in ensuring lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently whilst benefiting from excellent training, development and long-term career opportunities.

- Key Duties
- Safely sling and signal loads in accordance with lifting plans and site procedures.
- Direct crane movements using approved hand signals and communication methods.
- Inspect lifting accessories prior to use and report any defects.
- Ensure loads are secured correctly before lifting operations commence.
- Maintain effective communication with Crane Operators, Crane Supervisors and site management.
- Establish and maintain safe lifting zones and exclusion areas.
- Follow lift plans, risk assessments and method statements.
- Report hazards, incidents and near misses promptly.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping at all times.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Slinger/Signaller on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and safe systems of work.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to health and safety.
- Reliable, responsible and safety focused.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- CPCS Blue Slinger/Signaller Card (A40)
- Valid CSCS Health, Safety and Environment Test

- Crane Supervisor Qualification
