An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Drug Safety Executive to join a global pharmaceutical company based in Wales.

Role Overview: As a Drug Safety Executive, you will be a key member of the team, leading and conducting all aspects of signal management from signal detection through to signal assessment. You will also lead product safety signalling team meetings and contribute to and lead initiatives for process improvement and consistency regarding signal management.

What we’re looking for:

  • You should hold a degree in pharmacy or life sciences.
  • Experience in pharmacovigilance, specifically signal management and an in depth knowledge of current pharmacovigilance legislation and its application is essential.
  • You must have a broad knowledge of medical terminology and disease pathology to support safety decision making.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong communication and organisational skills are also required along with computer literacy, including experience in using a pharmacovigilance safety database.
