Our client, a leading provider of occupational health services is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) to join their Farnborough team. This is a pivotal role where you will support organisations across a variety of industries to create healthier, safer, and more productive working environments for their employees. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real difference, delivering high-quality clinical services while providing guidance and support to both employers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a full range of occupational health services including case management, fitness-for-work assessments, health surveillance, vaccinations, and phlebotomy.
- Provide clear, practical guidance drawing on professional judgement and up-to-date clinical knowledge.
- Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Support clients in reducing absence, facilitating return-to-work plans, and promoting a healthy working environment.
- Undertake clinical supervision and peer audits in relation to case management.
- Act as an ambassador for occupational health services, supporting health promotion initiatives and wellness activities.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, company policies, and procedures, maintaining the highest standard of care.
Requirements
- Nursing qualification with NMC registration.
- Occupational Health degree or diploma, or demonstrable equivalent experience within occupational health departments.
- Experience in case management and managing complex referrals.
- Trained to undertake all clinical services including health surveillance, fitness-to-work medicals, vaccinations, and phlebotomy.
- Experience attending, presenting, and hosting client wellness or health promotion days.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to utilise company systems effectively.
