Role Description

This full-time Level Access Shower and Multi-Trade Fitter role is an on-site position based in the West Midlands. The role involves installing level access showers and associated bathroom adaptations, including plumbing, tiling, carpentry, and basic electrical work as required. Day-to-day tasks include surveying job requirements, preparing work areas, fitting fixtures and fittings, testing completed installations for safety and functionality, and ensuring all work complies with relevant regulations and company standards. The fitter will liaise with customers and site contacts, maintain a clean and safe working environment, accurately document work completed, and collaborate with the wider installation team to deliver projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in bathroom fitting and plumbing, including installation of level access showers and related fixtures.
• Competence in multi-trade tasks such as tiling, carpentry/joinery, and basic decorative work.
• Understanding of relevant building regulations, health and safety practices, and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications, drawings, and work orders, with good attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and site contacts, and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team on-site.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various locations across the West Midlands.
• Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships in plumbing, bathroom fitting, or construction-related disciplines are highly beneficial.
