An excellent opportunity to join an agile engineering company developing electric vehicle propulsion systems and ancillary technologies. The role of Systems Integration and Design Engineer will be responsible for undertaking technical design and development of electric vehicle systems including:

  • Vehicle level system architecture design
  • High, low voltage and communication systems design
  • Vehicle electrical systems integration design
  • Safety analysis and design processes
  • Test rig design and implementation
  • Application test, calibration and validation

Educated to degree level you will also have experience of the following, either through projects, internship or post-graduate experience:

  • Various systems and components in modern EV powertrains
  • Vehicle systems architecture design
  • Communications systems design and analysis including CAN and LIN along with associated tools such as PEAK, Vector CANalyzer/CANoe
  • Generating system diagrams using MS Visio or similar
  • Wiring loom layout and design
  • Data logging and analysis
  • Electronic system test, calibration and validation
  • Test equipment usage: Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Insulation Tester

The role is site based, 5 days per week, in Banbury.
