A luxury automotive OEM is looking for a Business Planner to join their team in Gaydon, Warwickshire (12 months mat cover).
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- This role sits within the Central Business Office and is part of the Business Excellence Function in the delivery of Engineering Operations Operational Budget requirements within the business.
- The role under the Engineering Operations Factory Management team will support the delivery of the Engineering Operations Operational Budget and manage operational processes with Engineering Operations Factory office.
- This role will provide an excellent customer experience to internal and/or external customers and interface with most areas of the business up to and including director level.
- Your expertise will see you as part of a team that is responsible for the delivery of Engineering Operations Resource Operational budget.
- You will play a key part in ensuring this is successfully delivered.
- The team must also ensure deadlines and objectives are met, and budget is spent in a controlled manner whilst ensuring the department meets its objectives.
- You’ll be responsible for metrics and monthly reports, and for the development of business processes that make a dynamic contribution to our company’s future, always ready to offer guidance and direction to our engineers and senior leadership team.
Key Performance Indicators:
- To support delivery and governance of Engineering Operations Operational budget and flag risks as and when they occur.
- Provide process support to Engineering Operations Factory office.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Lead Engineering Operational Resource Budget and stakeholder management.
- Support Engineering Operations Customers.
- Drive the strategy of Engineering Operations Resource budget.
- Glidepath/resource planning for Operations.
- Budget Management.
- Strategic Planning and future investments opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Relevant previous experience in the Budgeting Process.
- Experience of collaboration cross functional team working.
- Good MS office suite: PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience of delivering a customer support service.
- Confidence in presenting to senior leaders and cross functional stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Experience of using RADs and SAP.
