Select Support Partnerships (SSP) is expanding – and we\’re looking for exceptional Senior Support Workers to lead a team with in our Liverpool serivces

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll take the lead in delivering consistent, tailored 1:1 support and coaching a small team to maintain the highest standards of care.

• Providing structured and empowering support to a gentleman with complex needs
• Leading and mentoring support staff on shift
• Supporting communication using visual aids and alternative methods (e.g., Now & Next)
• Managing personal care with respect and dignity
• Responding to behaviours that may challenge with skill and patience
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping, attending reviews, and contributing to care planning
• Working closely with families, professionals, and your wider team to ensure holistic care

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a care or supported living setting
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge
• A UK driving licence (preferred for flexibility across services)
• Confidence using or learning alternative communication tools
• Strong communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills
• Someone who sees the person, not the behaviour
• A calm, compassionate and professional approach to complex care
