Job Title: Warehouse & Shipping Operative
Location: Norwich
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Pay: £12.21 per hour (Temp to Perm, with pay increase upon permanent placement)

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Shipping Operative to join our client\’s team. This role is key in ensuring orders are prepared, processed, and dispatched efficiently, including international shipments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Royal Mail and FedEx systems, a good understanding of commercial invoices, and strong spreadsheet skills to manage shipment data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare and send out all post and parcels, including international deliveries.
  • Pick, package, and process customer orders.
  • Liaise with courier services such as FedEx, DPD, and Royal Mail.
  • Unload deliveries, check stock, and book items into inventory systems.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and order supplies as needed.
  • Handle customer queries in a professional manner.
  • Create and process commercial invoices for shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and shipment management systems.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience handling Royal Mail and FedEx shipments.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial invoices and shipping documentation.
  • Competent with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Computer literate with good attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and able to handle warehouse duties.
  • Forklift licence/experience desirable.
  • Reliable, proactive, and a good problem-solver.
