£13.70 per hour | Monday-Thursday | Temp to Perm
Select Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established food manufacturing company based in Little Melton.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role offering a great work-life balance, with a four-day working week and no weekend work. Following successful training, you'll also have the opportunity to move onto a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently
- Carry out routine machine checks to ensure production standards are maintained
- Load raw materials and packaging into machinery
- Identify and report machine faults or breakdowns
- Make basic machine adjustments and assist with changeovers
- Complete quality checks to ensure products meet food safety and company standards
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work area
- Follow all Health & Safety, HACCP and food hygiene procedures
- Complete production records accurately
- Work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or Machine Setter is essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- A reliable and positive approach to work
