Hospital Porter
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Hours: 8:00am – 8:00pm, 4 days on / 4 days off
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Select Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for a Hospital Porter to support the daily operations.
Duties include:
- Collecting and delivering linen around the centre.
- Managing the movement of waste in line with NHS procedures.
- Ensuring waste is correctly segregated and disposed of safely.
- Moving supplies and equipment between departments.
- Maintaining clean and organised storage areas.
- Supporting general porter duties when required.
- Carrying out manual handling tasks safely.
- Following infection control, health & safety and manual handling procedures.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous porter, warehouse or logistics experience is desirable.
