Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a long-term opportunity in a busy food production environment? Our client is looking for a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operative to join their team in Norwich, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

About the role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role in ensuring stock and finished products are moved safely and efficiently between the warehouse and production areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck across warehouse and production areas.
- Move, locate, relocate and stack finished products and materials.
- Load and unload lorries, trailers and containers.
- Move pallets between production areas and warehouse storage.
- Complete stock movements, stock counts and pallet checks.
- Ensure products are stored safely and correctly.
- Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report any faults.
- Use scanners and computer systems to record stock movements.
- Complete loading, unloading and delivery paperwork.
- Re-stack and reorganise pallets where required.
- Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and food hygiene.
What we're looking for:
- Must hold a valid in date Counterbalance Forklift license
- Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience
- Experience working within a warehouse, production or logistics environment
- Confident loading and unloading vehicles
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
- Reliable, hard-working and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working rotating shifts
