Class 2 Multidrop Driver – HGV / Category C

Our client is a growing and professional logistics and transport company providing reliable delivery and collection services to customers across the UK. We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver / Category C Driver to join the team. This is a multidrop driving role, ideal for drivers who enjoy a varied working day and delivering excellent customer service.
As a Class 2 Multidrop Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, completing multiple deliveries and collections throughout your assigned route.
Your typical day may include:
- Driving a Class 2 HGV / Category C vehicle safely and professionally.
- Completing multidrop deliveries and collections to multiple customers.
- Following planned delivery routes and schedules.
- Loading, securing and unloading goods safely.
- Completing delivery paperwork, PODs (Proof of Delivery) and other relevant documentation.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection locations.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Complying with DVSA, Road Transport and Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and vehicle cleanliness.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV/LGV driving licence.
- A valid Driver CPC / DCPC qualification.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver or Multidrop Driver is preferred.
- Experience with multidrop deliveries and collections is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of road safety and drivers' hours regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
