Class 2 Multidrop Driver – HGV / Category C

Location: Norwich & Various Locations
Salary: From Β£14.00 per hour – higher rates available for Class 1 drivers
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours week

Our client is a growing and professional logistics and transport company providing reliable delivery and collection services to customers across the UK. We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver / Category C Driver to join the team. This is a multidrop driving role, ideal for drivers who enjoy a varied working day and delivering excellent customer service.

As a Class 2 Multidrop Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, completing multiple deliveries and collections throughout your assigned route.

Your typical day may include:

  • Driving a Class 2 HGV / Category C vehicle safely and professionally.
  • Completing multidrop deliveries and collections to multiple customers.
  • Following planned delivery routes and schedules.
  • Loading, securing and unloading goods safely.
  • Completing delivery paperwork, PODs (Proof of Delivery) and other relevant documentation.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
  • Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection locations.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
  • Complying with DVSA, Road Transport and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintaining high standards of professionalism and vehicle cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV/LGV driving licence.
  • A valid Driver CPC / DCPC qualification.
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver or Multidrop Driver is preferred.
  • Experience with multidrop deliveries and collections is advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of road safety and drivers' hours regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
