Select Construction are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of our lovely clients in the heart of Norwich. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a chartered, independent cost consultancy working on prestigious projects across East Anglia and the South East.
As our client’s new Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll lead cost management delivery across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, infrastructure and major civils projects for high-profile clients including major developers and public sector bodies.
You’ll be:
- Leading and managing complex cost management commissions from inception to completion
- Managing client relationships and acting as primary consultant contact
- Overseeing procurement strategies and contract administration
- Leading value engineering, risk management and cost benchmarking exercises
- Mentoring and developing Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QSs
- Contributing to business development and winning new work
- Managing multiple high-value projects and project teams
You’ll need:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying with MRICS qualification
- Substantial post-qualification experience in cost consultancy
- Proven track record managing complex, high-value projects
- Expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract forms
- Strong commercial acumen and client relationship management skills
- Experience across multiple construction sectors
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Full UK driving licence
