Our client, a high growth business that operates within the Re-insurance/Speciality Insurance sector is looking to add to its team with the addition of a Graduate Finance Analyst. This challenging and rewarding role offers an exciting opportunity to study for your ACCA qualification whilst gaining relevant work experience along the way. Reporting into the Finance Manager this role offers the opportunity to fast track your career and challenge yourself on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly management account production
  • Production of weekly finance reports to be shared both internally and to our external clients
  • Assisting in the smooth financial operations of the company resolving queries and setting up invoice payments
  • Annual statutory reporting and audit responses
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and reconciliation of ledger accounts
  • Production of key Insurance finance reports
  • Accounts Receivable and Credit Control

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills to enable communication at all levels
  • Ability to handle a varied workload and competing priorities
  • Strong analytical, research and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe
  • Willingness to work extended hours, as required especially during month end
  • Degree educated (1st/2:1) in Accountancy & Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a business-related subject with finance focused modules
  • Strong A-level results
