Join Our Team: Temporary General Assistant (Kitchen & Front of House – School Setting)

We’re currently seeking a flexible and reliable Temporary General Assistant to support both the kitchen and front of house in a school environment.

This is a term-time, temporary role — ideal for someone looking for flexible work during school hours.

Once registered, you’ll be added to our relief staffing pool and offered shifts as they become available — with no obligation to commit long-term.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Serving food and assisting during lunch service (FOH)
• Supporting pupils and staff with friendly, efficient service
• Helping with simple food preparation (e.g. salads, sandwiches, snacks)
• Carrying out general cleaning and dishwashing (KP duties)
• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in both kitchen and service areas

You’ll Need:

• Enhanced DBS Check registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
• Overseas Police Check (if applicable – i.e. if you’ve lived abroad in the last 5 years)
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate – or willingness to obtain one (support available)
• Safety shoes (required for kitchen work)
• A proactive, friendly attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed
