We are proud to be working with a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Ely. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their Workshop team with a reliable and hands-on individual who is looking to secure a long-term position within a stable and supportive environment. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for permanent employment following a successful probation period.
Duties Include:
- Supporting general workshop production, including unpacking and re-packaging doors and door sets
- Sorting deliveries into the correct locations and checking labels to ensure accurate stock allocation
- Inspecting stock for damaged or missing items and carrying out regular stock checks
- Moving and organising stock manually and using lifting equipment/forklift trucks where required
- Assisting with general warehouse duties and maintaining housekeeping and Health & Safety standards
- Operating woodworking machinery where required
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or production experience preferred
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling duties
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence with operating experience required
- Reliable, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
