£12.86 – £14.00 per hour DOE

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Ely. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their workshop team with a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys practical, hands-on work.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term position within a supportive and stable manufacturing environment.
Duties Include:
- Assembling and manufacturing products to a high standard
- Using a variety of hand tools and workshop machinery safely and efficiently
- Measuring, preparing and fitting components with accuracy
- Carrying out quality inspections throughout the production process
- Handling raw materials and finished products within the workshop
- Following production instructions and meeting quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, workshop or production environment
- Experience working with timber or wood is highly desirable
- Confident using hand tools and machinery
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
