Our client is seeking a passionate and reliable Baking Instructor to deliver fun, hands-on baking sessions for children aged 4–11 in a safe and engaging after-school environment.
You will lead structured baking sessions, teaching children how to bake and decorate a variety of sweet and savoury items while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and independence. Full training, lesson plans, and materials are provided.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate baking sessions
- Teach children basic baking and decorating skills
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Supervise children and follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
- Create a positive, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 4 hours per day, Term-time only
RequirementsEssential:
- Strong baking skills (professional or hobbyist)
- Comfortable working with children
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Own transport
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable:
- Experience working with children (teaching assistant, tutor, childcare, instructor, etc.)
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safeguarding
- Full training and structured lesson plans
- All ingredients and materials provided
- Supportive and creative working environment
- Consistent part-time, term-time hours
